3 top Copywriting tips for Autumn!

With the last days of summer rolling in Autumn is well and truly in the air.  I love the richness of Autumn. The cosy colours, the roaring fires, the sweetness of a toffee apple, the crunching of leaves under feet, even the damp days that even with an umbrella and waterproofs you still get wet!

It also time to reflect, to rest, and in the hospitality industry, it's a time to get over the busy summer months where the white wines were a plenty and the salads were propping up every menu. For the next few months, we will be filled with pumpkins, blackberries, beef shin, hearty stews and pastry topped pies and fuelled by hot chocolates and red wine!

It's not just about food although a menu spruce is important but also time to do renovations, spruce 'down' your garden and time to get websites ready for the colder winter months that follow. A lot of people now research where they are going, pick restaurants and shop in advance and don't want to wander round the streets trying to find a decent place to eat in the pouring rain. So, make sure your web appearance is SPOT ON.

Here we have 3 top tips how copywriting can help with your Autumn in the hospitality, tourism and travel industry.

  1. It's time to change your Website. To start planning events and make sure your website is up-to-date, easy to read, enticing for your customers and has all the relevant information that your customers will need. There is no point in having the wrong opening hours, conflicting information about how to book a table/room, wordy paragraphs or outdated events. It isn't a good first impression, doesn't make your customers feel confident and makes your business look bad before they even get there. We can do a WEBSITE AUDIT to let you know what you will need and then we can go from there writing your copy and content.
  2. Blog posts/Newsletters. Both these can be intertwined together to create a perfect weekly/biweekly/monthly newsletter to go out to current and old customers to let them know all about you - your new events, offers that you will be having and general news on your business. A blog post can work in a similar way but will have a lot more detail and will entice a variety of new customers who need to find you! Our researched posts will be a breath of fresh air to your business and a great asset to your website, mailshots and blog.
  3. Social Media. Yes, it's not going away and there is a new app on the scene all the time. Having a social media presence is a huge necessity! It's also a huge inconvenience! You've got so much on in your business and don't have time to do anything extra? Well, with someone writing all of your content and copy it makes your life a hundred times easier. We can even set it all up for you and all you need to do is sit back and greet your customers. You know in the middle of creating products, making food, cleaning bedrooms, polishing glassware and everything in-between!
